I joined the Amazons in May 2021 when they started training again following the endless covid lockdowns! I had previously played ice hockey briefly when I was about 11 years old whilst living in Canada, but I hadn’t skated in a very long time!

Prior to joining the Amazons I played field hockey for 10 years and currently I play football which has helped me with my positioning. I couldn’t stop on the ice when I first joined the Amazons… but I have definitely improved since then! My highlight so far was getting Player of the Match at our away game in Oxford, but I can’t wait to keep playing with the Amazons. Everyone is so lovely, the coaches are super helpful and I look forward to training every week!
