We’re thrilled to confirm that Willow Oatley is returning to the Amazons for the 2025/26 season!

Standing 6’1 with smooth skating and lovely puck control, a long reach, and natural athleticism. Willow’s a brilliant skater with beautiful technique, She has the confidence to make smart decisions on the fly, take ownership of a play, and create opportunities at both ends of the rink. No doubt one of the most difficult defenders to come up against for any forward.

Off the ice, Willow’s a social butterfly who brings energy, warmth, and positivity to the team, making her a huge part of our dressing room.

Willow says, “It’s been a privilege to be a part of the Amazon’s so far and I am looking forward  to going into a new season with such a strong team. I’m excited to continue the development I was seeing last season thanks to our lovely coaches. I have a feeling this season is going to be a good one!”

Her hockey journey only began in 2022 with the Southampton Spitfires through University Ice Hockey, and since then she’s gone from strength to strength. She’s raised awareness, representing Breast Cancer Now at the All Stars Tournament this summer, and will be also competing in the Loftus Cup with Team Young this year.

We’re so excited to see Willow continue her rise with the Amazons, she’s one to watch this season!
