Welcome back to the rink, Sarah Poulter! Who is coming out of retirement to join the Solent Amazons for the 2025/26 season!

Sarah’s hockey career is nothing short of legendary. With a decade in Div1 under her belt, she played 113 games, scored a staggering 179 goals, and added 86 assists for a total of 265 points! What more can we say…

Sarah says, “I’m really excited to be joining the Amazons. After returning to hockey following a 10 year break, I can’t wait to get back to playing games. I’m really grateful to have the opportunity to play with such a great team. Bring on the season!”

She’s represented both the Sheffield Shadows at premier league and the Oxford Midnight Stars in Div1, bringing with her a wealth experience to Solent. Sarah has been back in training, and it’s clear she’s still got it. 

We can’t wait to see her in black and red, flying down the ice and lighting the lamp once again. Welcome back to the game, Sarah! And welcome to the Amazons!
