A Solent legend, we’re so excited to announce that Sarah Taylor is back with the Solent Amazons for
another season! 

A dynamic player, Sarah brings speed, skill, and serious hockey smarts every time she steps on the ice. Whether she’s locking things down on defence or jumping up front to spark the offence, she’s consistently one of our most reliable playmakers.

Sarah’s iconic journey with us started in 2013 after a standout Premier League career with Streatham Storm, and she’s been a huge part of our club’s story ever since.

Sarah says, “Really excited to be back on the ice with the Amazons this year, I have so much love for this team and this club, and after a fantastic finish last year I’m even more pumped to see what this season brings!”

Her impact goes far beyond the game. As our club chair, Sarah has led us through one of the most exciting growth periods in our history, helping launch a second women’s team and creating more space than ever for women to play hockey at Solent. 

Sarah is calm, positive and full of strength, always holding true to the values we’re proud of as a club, and she has built friendships and bonds here that will last a lifetime.

Away from the club, Sarah represents GB Ice Crushers at international tournaments.
