Explosive, fearless, and full of heart, we’re thrilled to announce that Jess Banner is back for a second season with the Amazons! 

One of our top scorers and a versatile player up front or in defence, Jess made a huge impact last season with some unforgettable performances, including a four goal game against Phantoms that turned heads across the league. 

Jess says, “I started playing for the Amazons last season and was welcomed into the club by all the players. I’m looking forward to playing for the Amazons this season and improving and progressing as a player. We were playing really good hockey at the end of the season I believe we can continue this next season.”

After a serious knee injury in U15’s while playing for Basingstoke, she lost key development years and quietly flew under the radar… until now! She came into last season ready to prove herself, and with undeniable skill and effort, she’s on track to become one of the nation’s best..

Jess brings the energy. Fun, wild and fiercely kind. Even in the face of tough moments last year, she showed just what a strong, spirited, and unshakeable woman she is.
