We’re buzzing to confirm that Leah Trueman is returning for her second season with the Amazons!

After a decade away from the game, Leah came back last year and didn’t miss a beat. In fact, she recorded one of her best ever points seasons and was voted our 2024/25 MVP! 

Leah says, ”Season number 2 is about to start and I feel stoked to be part of an amazing team. How we preformed last season (especially the latter half) has left me wanted more and to see exactly how far we can go as a Team.

A proven winner with 3 Premier League titles under her belt, Leah brings top level experience and a strong presence on the ice.

She’s brilliant on the penalty kill, has really solid puck protection, and her slap shot is lethal from the point. Whether we’re chasing a goal or defending a lead, Leah’s one of the first names we count on.

Off the ice, she’s a natural leader in the dressing room, confident, positive, and always lifting the team around her. We’re proud to have her in Solent again this season.
