She’s back, and defenders across the league should be worried.
Louise Beresford returns for her second season with the Amazons after a phenomenal debut year in red and black.

Lou says, “I’m excited to be back with the Amazons and ready to get going. I’m looking forward to the start of the season and I’m aiming for us to be right in the mix for the top of the table. On a personal note I had a strong end to last season and I’d like to continue where I left off.”

With 20 goals in just 10 games, Louise was our top forward of the 2024/25 season, and took the team to the next level. Clinical, fast, an out-and-out sniper, and one of the most dangerous finishers in the country.

Before joining us, Louise played for GB U18s and the Bracknell Queen Bees, but took time out from the game for uni and injury. Now in her prime, she made her comeback last season, and proved without question that she’s one of the absolute best players in British hockey right now.

Lou’s sharp, focused, and only just getting started. We’re absolutely buzzing to have her back leading our offence this season.
