Welcome to Solent Women’s Ice Hockey Club – As the only female ice hockey club on the south coast, SWIHC is uniquely positioned to deliver this thrilling, fast-paced sport to players and spectators alike. Our mission is to inspire and unite women and girls on the south coast through ice hockey, helping players of all abilities and backgrounds to reach their full potential.

We specialise in offering high quality training and competitive league hockey, competing in the Womens National Ice Hockey League. With the club growing to two teams in 2024 and aspirations to expand to an U16 team by 2026.

We’ve grown into a buzzing club of over 50 players, with two amazing squads:

• Solent Amazons – our main WNIHL team, competing in league games across the country

• Solent Valkyries – our development team, perfect for newer players or those getting back into the game

Whether you’ve never picked up a stick before or you’re looking to get back on the ice, there’s a place for you here.
