When did you start playing hockey and why? Started playing at Southampton uni in 2021 for a work life balance and never stopped
Whats the best moment of your career so far? Winning bronze at nationals with Southampton Women’s team in 2024
Whats a funny hockey memory? Playing Cambridge with Valks following a string of night shifts, thinking the goalie had saved my shot a few minutes in and congratulating her on the save before Charlie informed me the puck went in the net
What’s your pre-game ritual? Bananas, pasta and lots of deepheat
How does hockey help you with your personal life? I work as a midwife when not playing hockey – helps me to have a good work life balance, even if it does mean a lot of post-night shift games!
What’s your favourite thing about playing with Solent? I enjoy the team spirit here, everyone is so welcoming. There are a lot of former Southampton Uni players on the team so immediately I felt at home
