Solent Amazons recognise the need for more opportunities for Women in Ice Hockey. And, after having more players register with Solent in 2023/24 than ever before, we are excited to announce our Team is becoming a Club and to unveil our second Gosport-based Women’s Ice Hockey Team.

Welcome to Valhalla, and welcome, the Solent Valkyrie!

Solent Valkyrie will be playing friendly games for the remainder of the 2023/24 season against fellow development teams such as Bristol and Oxford. 

As an affiliate team of the Solent Amazons, it will allow more of our players to get game time before being called up to the Amazons main squad.

Being the feeder team for Amazons, Valkyrie is a brilliant place for people getting their start into the world of Ice Hockey. 

It will also be a great home for experienced/casual players who are looking to part their wisdom on the next generation whilst keeping their fitness up. Those who are interested in joining the Solent Amazons Women’s Ice Hockey Club are all welcome to join us for a training session.
